Role Summary

Responsibilities
Primary duties include designing and validating digital hardware on FPGA and collaborating with architects to translate research into product direction.
- Design, implement, and test digital hardware on FPGA.
- Build FPGA prototypes for protocols and system-level features.
- Evaluate designs for performance, area, and timing against product targets.
- Explore translation of FPGA implementations into upcoming silicon products.
- Collaborate with architects and researchers to refine and tune designs.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and hands-on experience; preferred items listed separately.
- Must-have: Strong fundamentals in digital design and computer architecture.
- Must-have: Hands-on FPGA experience (Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL).
- Must-have: Understanding of hardware design flows: synthesis, timing, and verification.
- Must-have: Programming experience in C/C++ and Python.
- Nice-to-have: Exposure to high-speed protocols, hardware/software co-design, or ASIC design flows.
Education Requirements
Enrolled in a PhD, MS by Research, or MTech by Research program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field (or equivalent research enrollment).
