Job Title

RegE Process Integration Engineer

Role Summary

Lead development, optimization, and sustainment of RegE, bevel, and backside processes for DRAM manufacturing. Work within the Process Integration team and partner with Process, Equipment, RDA, and Manufacturing teams to improve yield, quality, reliability, and cost.

Experience Level

Mid-level - minimum 3 years of semiconductor fab or high-volume manufacturing experience; 3 years working with memory technologies is preferred. At least 2 years of experience driving yield, cost, and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and optimize RegE, bevel, and backside process technologies to improve yield, quality, reliability, and cost.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using data-driven methods to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Monitor and improve process health metrics, defect control strategies, and process capability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate abnormalities, implement corrective actions, and mitigate manufacturing risks.
  • Support technology development, qualification, and transfer by deploying best-known methods and capturing technical learnings.
  • Provide technical guidance to sustain robust manufacturing and ramp activities.

Requirements

Essential and preferred technical experience for the role.

Must-have

  • Minimum 3 years of semiconductor fabrication or high-volume manufacturing experience, including experience with memory technologies (DRAM preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years driving yield improvement, cost reduction, or quality enhancement initiatives in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with RegE, bevel, and backside process technologies.
  • Understanding of transistor operation, scaling challenges, and device reliability fundamentals.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in process integration, technology development, yield analysis, device engineering, test development (TD), or reliability and quality activities.
  • Experience in 300mm semiconductor manufacturing and technology/process transfer or ramp activities.
  • Familiarity with module ownership, trend sustainment, and manufacturing ramp practices.
  • Experience using AI-assisted analytics for anomaly detection and yield improvement.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field. Preferred: Master's or PhD in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
