Role Summary

Join an engineering team that builds automation, productivity tools, and AI-enabled assistants to improve engineering workflows and toolchains. The role leads technical projects from concept through delivery and collaborates with cross-functional teams to design maintainable, extensible software architectures.

Experience Level

Senior - at least 3 years of professional experience in software development, automation, CAD/EDA, or a related engineering field.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include designing and delivering software and automation that improve engineering productivity.

• Research and build software tools to boost engineering productivity and streamline workflows.
• Design and implement AI-enabled automation and agent-based systems for practical engineering tasks.
• Integrate AI assistants and automation into internal tools, processes, and development environments.
• Define and implement scalable, maintainable software architectures and APIs.
• Lead technical projects from initial concept through launch and iterative improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select scalable solutions and ensure integration.
• Mentor and review work of other engineers, promoting strong software engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex systems in Linux-based environments.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

• Experience in semiconductor design or EDA domains such as VLSI, physical design, layout, or physical verification.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development, automation, CAD/EDA, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills and proven experience building scalable software applications.
• Solid foundation in software architecture, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design.
• Hands-on experience with AI workflows, agent-based systems, or intelligent automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Linux development, version control systems, and modern engineering practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging abilities; effective oral and written communication skills.

Education Requirements
