R&D Process Engineer (Entry-level)
Role Summary
Design, develop and optimize manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies. Support R&D teams by collecting and analyzing process data, performing hardware characterization, troubleshooting basic engineering issues, and producing technical documentation.
Experience Level
Entry-level (New College Grad).
Responsibilities
Work under supervision to support process experiments and product implementation across R&D and manufacturing projects.
- Collect, analyze, and compile data from process engineering experiments.
- Perform hardware characterization on basic systems and measure film properties.
- Troubleshoot process issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Generate internal documentation: technical reports, presentations, and product documentation.
- Engage with customers and address basic process concerns under direct supervision.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to support process development.
- Support implementation of new technologies, products, and analytical instrumentation.
- Conduct experiments and collaborate with global R&D teams on research projects.

- Willingness to travel (approximately 10%).
- Nice-to-have: research experience in the semiconductor or display fields.
Education Requirements
PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical field. Research focus in the semiconductor field is an advantage. (Posting indicates new college grad candidates are considered.)
