Role Summary

Responsible for developing and introducing new semiconductor packages and process capabilities. The role partners with project leaders, cross-functional teams, business groups, and external suppliers to deliver robust package and process solutions that meet project timelines and business requirements.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include:

• Support new product and package development and deliver results per project timelines.
• Monitor process performance, quality, and reliability during development.
• Identify technical issues and deviations; recommend and implement corrective or improvement actions.
• Spearhead Design for Manufacturability (DFM) activities for new projects.
• Drive process development and perform gap analysis against established baselines.
• Conduct risk assessments and review Design of Experiments (DoE) results.
• Ensure package and process integration assessments throughout development.
• Develop new package capabilities by integrating key processes and perform package benchmarking.
• Establish package costing and produce draft process flows for new packages.
• Ensure compliance with applicable milestone gates (BCAMx) during development.
• Collaborate closely with materials and equipment suppliers, project leaders, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain and expand technical knowledge through seminars, technical reports, and conferences.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Strong technical knowledge in semiconductor package development, process development, and package/process integration.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design of Experiments (DoE), risk assessment, gap analysis, and benchmarking.
• Ability to analyze package and process performance, quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, project leaders, and external materials and equipment suppliers.
• Strong collaboration and technical communication skills.
