Role Summary

The R&D Hardware Engineer will design and develop high-speed analog circuits for wireline transceivers. The role involves working on circuit design, conducting tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and evaluate electronic components and circuitry.
  • Specialize in high-speed analog circuit design.
  • Determine design approaches and analyze equipment data.
  • Conduct experimental tests and evaluate results.
  • Select components based on specifications and reliability.
  • Review vendor capabilities to support product development.
  • Use CAD tools for layout/design work.

Requirements

Must have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years experience or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience with high-speed ADC and DAC design.
  • Knowledge of PLL design and high linealities in Low-Noise TIAs.
  • Background in equalization techniques and clock/data recovery circuits.
  • Proficient in CAD tools for electronics design.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
