Role Summary
Lead a team of integration engineers within GF Labs / Technology Development to develop manufacturable, scalable integration schemes for ion-trap quantum computing platforms. The role spans BEOL CMOS integration, photonics, interconnects, and packaging while aligning device requirements with semiconductor process capabilities.
The position combines people leadership, program delivery accountability, and hands-on technical direction to drive execution across device engineering, process development, packaging, reliability, and manufacturing.
Experience Level
Senior β 5+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor process or integration engineering.
Responsibilities
Lead integration workstreams and deliver program milestones while managing a technical team and cross-functional execution.
- Lead semiconductor integration efforts for ion-trap quantum computing platforms, focusing on BEOL CMOS, photonics integration, and advanced packaging.
- Drive yield-learning and integration debug: root-cause analysis, DOE definition, and corrective actions.
- Translate system and device requirements into manufacturable integration schemes, process requirements, and design rules.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of integration engineers; set technical direction and priorities.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution with device engineering, process development, BEOL integration, packaging, reliability, and manufacturing.
- Communicate integration progress, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and stakeholders.
