Quality & Reliability Engineer (NAND)
Role Summary
Perform electrical failure analysis and data analysis for next-generation 3D NAND devices to support product quality and reliability in high-volume manufacturing (HVM).
Develop and maintain outgoing monitor plans, manage deviations through structured risk assessments, and provide data-driven product disposition and release documentation. For application assistance or reasonable accommodations contact hrsupport_my@micron.com.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop, validate, and maintain test methodologies and coverage to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Create release documentation and set up monitoring plans for products entering HVM.
- Perform product failure analysis on rejects to identify failure modes and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
- Manage deviations using structured risk assessments and provide data-driven product disposition decisions.
- Assist with post-qualification quality and reliability issues and coordinate disposition of materials.
- Coordinate with R&D and Product Engineering to identify new reliability issues and define appropriate tests and assessments.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Experience in test engineering or semiconductor manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux and programming (C, C++, Perl, Python, or tester languages).
- Knowledge of automated test equipment and experience writing and debugging test programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication; good organization and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and perform under pressure.
- Baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly.
Preferred:
- Understanding of semiconductor device physics.
- Prior QA or product engineering experience; failure analysis experience is a plus.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
