Role Summary
Work with a team on QA (Quality Assurance) and PV (Product Validation) projects for SPICE circuit simulators and the Virtuoso Analog Design Environment. The role focuses on validating simulator behavior, executing test cases, and helping ensure accurate simulation results for customer designs.

Responsibilities
Primary tasks involve test and validation activities for circuit simulation tools and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Participate in QA and PV projects for SPICE simulators (Spectre, APS, XPS, SpectreRF, AMS) and Virtuoso ADE.
- Design, run, and document test cases and regression suites to validate simulator functionality.
- Analyze simulation outputs to verify correctness and identify discrepancies.
- Reproduce and isolate customer-reported issues and validate fixes.
- Report defects and work with cross-functional teams to resolve problems.
- Communicate test results and findings clearly to engineers and stakeholders.
Requirements

- Customer IC design experience.
- Familiarity with SPICE-based simulators and Virtuoso ADE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
- Willingness to perform hands-on testing and validation tasks in a QA/PV environment.
- Nice-to-have: prior QA/PV or simulation validation experience.
Education Requirements
MS degree candidate in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (as stated in the source).
