Project Manager
Role Summary
The Project Manager will lead execution of product development programs for RF semiconductors and RF modules within Qorvo's High Performance Analog business unit, focused on defense and aerospace products.
Primary responsibilities include managing schedules, budgets and cross-functional coordination across Design, Assembly, Test, Quality and Logistics, often with remote and international teams.
Experience Level
Mid-level (Professional). The role prefers candidates with approximately 5+ years in defense, semiconductor, or communications industries and ~3 years with RF semiconductors or microwave modules.
Responsibilities
The Project Manager will drive program execution and ensure alignment between product management and operations.
- Plan, track and drive program schedules and budgets to meet customer expectations.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities across design, assembly, test, quality and logistics.
- Manage remote and international teams; run effective meetings and status reviews.
- Communicate program status and internal assessments to account managers and functional leaders.
- Influence and coordinate actions with internal suppliers and stakeholders without formal authority.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, experience, and behaviors for successful performance.
- Experience in semiconductor, defense, or communications program management; preferred 5+ years.
- Experience with RF semiconductors or microwave modules preferred (~3 years).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Proficient with SAP, Excel, and business-intelligence tools (Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Ability to coordinate engineering, operations and business unit teams and drive cross-functional action plans.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and act as an independent team player.
- Note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the company.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in the semiconductor industry with knowledge of wafer fabrication, assembly and test.
