Project Manager
Role Summary
The Project Manager will lead cross-functional engineering teams to plan, track and deliver System IP and semiconductor products (e.g. CPU, DMC, Interconnect, MMU, GIC, SoC, GPU, PHY). The role partners with Product Managers, Technical Leads and engineering groups to ensure on-spec, high-quality delivery on committed schedules.

Responsibilities
Manage engineering projects across the full development lifecycle and ensure timely delivery.
- Lead project teams for System IP and semiconductor product development from concept to delivery.
- Define scope, deliverables, schedules and detailed plans in collaboration with Product Managers and Technical Leads.
- Create and maintain project schedules; track progress using measurable metrics.
- Allocate resources, manage budgets, and control changes and dependencies.
- Identify, escalate and mitigate risks and issues.
- Communicate status and decisions to stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Occasional travel to collaborate with Arm teams and partners.
Requirements
Must-have technical and project-management capabilities required to run engineering programs.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry and knowledge of microelectronics and IP development/integration.
- Demonstrated project management across engineering development lifecycles; familiar with hardware and soft IP lifecycle methods (e.g., waterfall, iterative).
- Proven ability to create high-level plans and translate them into detailed schedules and tracking metrics.
- Practical experience with planning, scheduling, progress tracking, resource allocation, budget management, and change control.
- Strong written and verbal communication; capable of working with highly skilled engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Proactive, pragmatic problem-solving and attention to delivery quality.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience driving projects in evolving development environments.
- Demonstrated leadership of team members through clear goals and direction.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira and Confluence.
Education Requirements
A university degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science is desired; other degrees may be considered with confirmed relevant experience. Formal project management qualification (e.g., PMP) is a plus; equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
