Role Summary

The Project Leader will plan and deliver complex, cross‑functional fab technology projects from initiation through completion. The role leads project teams, aligns stakeholders, manages risks, and ensures projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets in a global semiconductor production environment.

Experience Level

Mid-level (minimum 5 years relevant work experience)

Responsibilities

Accountable for end-to-end project delivery and continuous improvement of project practices.

• Lead complex, cross-functional projects and translate business objectives into executable plans.
• Define project scope, create and maintain schedules, manage budgets, and ensure quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assemble and set up project teams; identify required skills and resources early.
• Provide hands-on day-to-day leadership; remove blockers and resolve conflicts.
• Assess and manage change; steer decision-making and apply structured change management.
• Identify and mitigate risks, prepare contingencies, and adjust plans to maintain delivery.
• Maintain transparent communication and reporting to stakeholders on progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement of delivery practices and business processes.
• Develop own capabilities and share best practices across teams.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant project leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Resilient, assertive, takes ownership of projects and drives results.
• Solution-focused mindset and strong team-player attitude with hands-on approach.
• Proficient with modern project management tools and Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in the semiconductor industry and knowledge of semiconductor processes and packaging.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in a technical field (required). PMI certification or equivalent project management certification is listed as a strong benefit.
