Job Title
Program Manager - Multimedia Technologies
Role Summary
Responsible for end-to-end planning, execution governance, and delivery predictability for Multimedia technology programs across SoC platforms and XR product segments. The role coordinates cross-functional teams across multimedia hardware and software stacks to maintain a clear Plan of Record (POR) and deliver against milestones.
Works with engineering, product, business, and executive stakeholders to track progress, manage risks, and provide executive-level transparency and recommendations.
Experience Level
Senior — the posting emphasizes senior-level ownership and lists ~10+ years of experience in Hi‑Tech / Semiconductor / Platform Software; the job also contains a template minimum of 2+ years in program management and preferred experience levels. Expect senior-level program management responsibility.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include ownership of the multimedia Plan of Record, execution governance, resource planning, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement of processes and metrics.
- Own end-to-end multimedia program planning across lifecycle phases (pre-silicon → bring-up → SOD → customer ship) and maintain the Plan of Record (POR).
- Define and maintain milestones, traceability, and delivery accountability for features and deliverables across multiple SoCs and releases.
- Drive execution governance: feature request/scoping, release readiness and closure reviews, dependency and integration tracking, and risk identification/mitigation.
- Provide resource and capacity management: staffing plans, level-of-effort estimates, gap analysis, and overage tracking to support POR commitments.
- Act as the single coordination point across software, hardware, systems engineering, product management, business units, and executive leadership; produce dashboards and executive summaries.
- Define and improve program KPIs, dashboards, and execution metrics; promote automation, reporting efficiency, and tool/AI adoption where appropriate.
- Ensure adherence to internal development, release, and compliance processes and foster consistent execution rigor across geographies and partners.
