Program Manager in EDA
Role Summary
Manage end-to-end program delivery for EDA-related software and system solutions. Partner with engineering, customer support, and cross-geography teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases from prototype through production.

Responsibilities
Deliver and oversee programs that coordinate multiple software and engineering teams, with emphasis on quality, schedule, and cross-team alignment.
- Plan and execute programs with clear schedules, milestones, and quality targets.
- Drive completion of deliverables and respond to customer quality feedback.
- Create and maintain project artifacts: schedules, resource forecasts, risk and issue logs.
- Coordinate across geographies and teams to align stakeholders and dependencies.
- Track chip/product lifecycle from planning and prototype to production release.
- Provide status reporting and dashboards; surface cross-team dependencies and progress views.
- Identify risks, define mitigation plans, and escalate when necessary.
- Manage crises and urgent issues with a sense of urgency and strong ownership.
Requirements

- Proven program/project management experience in software development or engineering organizations.
- Track record of delivering complex software programs and coordinating customer-facing activities.
- Experience with device drivers, firmware, graphics technology, and SoC product development.
- Demonstrated cross-geography coordination and horizontal/matrix leadership.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support global teams (Asia and North America emphasis).
Nice-to-have:
- Agile development experience or certification.
- People management experience (desirable).
Education Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering is desired. PMP certification is required. The posting specifies 8+ years of program management experience in EDA or related companies.
