Role Summary

Join the post-silicon validation team in Bayan Lepas to validate timing and static/dynamic power models for Multi-Chip Package (MCP) FPGAs. The role focuses on executing post-silicon characterization, correlating silicon results to pre-silicon models, and improving product yield and speed binning.

Responsibilities

Execute and own post-silicon validation activities to measure power and timing across advanced FPGA architectures and support product characterization at scale.

• Develop and execute post-silicon validation plans for static and dynamic power, power domains, and complex timing parameters.
• Create, optimize, and debug FPGA validation pattern sets for MCPs and core logic circuits.
• Run and validate tests on ATE tester platforms and bench setups for volume characterization and silicon bring-up.
• Correlate empirical silicon data with pre-silicon simulations and power/timing models.
• Perform statistical data analysis to identify trends and support speed/power binning and yield optimization.
• Collaborate with global chip designers, software model engineers, and test teams to diagnose and resolve silicon issues.

Requirements

Core technical skills and hands-on experience required for the role.

• 3–6 years of practical experience in post-silicon validation, test engineering, or hardware characterization.
• Practical experience measuring static and dynamic power, timing characterization, and analyzing power domains for complex ICs or FPGAs.
• Hands-on experience with ATE tester platforms and bench characterization setups.
• Proficiency in scripting for test automation and data analysis (Python, Perl, or Tcl).
• Solid understanding of digital logic design, programmable logic architectures, and advanced packaging (MCP).
• Experience using statistical methods and data-analysis tools to evaluate silicon performance trends.

Education Requirements
