Product Test Engineer - Digital Processors and Sensors characterization, up to Staff

Role Summary

Qualcomm is seeking an experienced Digital Processors and Sensors Characterization Engineer to join the Product and Test Development Engineering (PDTE) team. The role involves developing test and characterization solutions to support New Product Introduction and Manufacturing Enablement of Qualcomm Silicon on Chip (SOC) products.

Experience Level

Mid-level, requiring a minimum of 6 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

• Developing test and characterization solutions for semiconductor products.
• Handling technical issue escalations and communication with management.
• Driving efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6 years of experience in product and test development engineering, with knowledge of performance characterization.
• Understanding of VLSI technologies and familiarity with Digital Baseband products.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++/VB/Java/Python; knowledge of AI programming tools is a plus.
• Experience with data analytic tools like O+, Data Power, Exensio; knowledge of Machine Learning is advantageous.
• Ability to work with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), preferably Advantest 93K.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field required; a Master's or PhD is preferred.
