Job Title

Product Test Engineer

Role Summary

Develop, debug, and maintain test programs and workflows that validate DRAM products from new-product introduction through high-volume manufacturing. The role covers memory-cell health, high-speed interface and system-level testing, and automation using AI-assisted tools. Work is cross-functional with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver efficient, high-quality test solutions.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include creating and supporting test programs, analyzing test data, and collaborating across engineering and manufacturing to meet test-time and yield objectives.

  • Develop, debug, and support test programs from NPI through high-volume manufacturing.
  • Write test programs and support scripts using C++ and Python.
  • Provide input to define design-for-test capabilities for future products.
  • Analyze device and test-flow data to inform test coverage decisions.
  • Balance test time targets while maintaining yield and product quality.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, Fab, Manufacturing, Yield Enhancement, Global Quality, Systems Integration, and Equipment Engineering teams.

Requirements

Minimum technical knowledge required; preferred skills listed separately.

Must-have:

  • Basic R/L/C circuit knowledge.
  • Understanding of digital systems and logic gate representation.
  • Understanding of CMOS transistor operation.
  • Basic statistics and data analytics.

Nice-to-have:

  • Intermediate to advanced programming capability in C++ or Python.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistance and AI workflow automation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience is explicitly accepted.
