Product Quality Engineer
Role Summary
The Product Quality Engineer will drive manufacturing readiness, test development, and quality for advanced compute and GPU systems from NPI through high-volume production. This role partners with design engineers, global manufacturing partners, and cross-functional teams to meet yield, reliability, and throughput targets at hyperscale.

Mid-level — typically requires 6+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field supporting complex hardware products.
Responsibilities
Accountable for manufacturing readiness and quality metrics during new product introduction (NPI) and mass production (MP).
- Drive and monitor manufacturing metrics (yield, throughput, cycle time, first-pass yield) across NPI and MP; escalate risks and track remediation.
- Develop, validate, and implement manufacturing and test requirements for compute and GPU systems.
- Evaluate and improve test coverage, methodologies, and test infrastructure to meet reliability and performance targets.
- Lead hardware debugging, root cause analysis, and Failure Analysis and Corrective Actions (FACA) to resolve issues and meet yield goals.
- Support transition from prototype builds to high-volume manufacturing; resolve open design and test issues with suppliers and internal teams.
- Collaborate on power optimizations and performance tuning during manufacturing validation.
- Travel internationally to supplier sites to manage validation and maintain technical partnerships (up to ~25%).
Requirements

- Must-have: 6+ years' experience in manufacturing engineering or related roles supporting hardware from NPI to high-volume production.
- Program and project management experience for complex hardware products through launch.
- Hands-on experience with testing and validation of compute and GPU systems and working knowledge of hardware architecture.
- Experience in process development, bring-up, qualification, and final assembly/test/pack-out processes.
- Proven ability to partner with stakeholder teams and drive alignment on technical decisions.
- Nice-to-have: experience with hyperscale data center hardware manufacturing, test automation frameworks, MES, GPU/HPC/AI infrastructure, international contract manufacturers, ISO 9001 or quality management systems, reliability engineering (accelerated life testing, failure mode analysis), and scripting test cases for servers and racks.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Advanced degrees in those fields are listed as preferred.
