Product Manager, RF Portfolio - Embedded Technologies
Role Summary
Lead product line strategy, go-to-market execution, and customer engagement for AMD's Versal RF Series and Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC products. Work cross-functionally across silicon, firmware, software, sales, and factories to grow adoption in Aerospace & Defense, SatCOM, Test & Measurement, and Wireless Infrastructure markets.
San Jose, CA preferred; open to remote. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
Drive product line outcomes from strategy through new product introduction and market adoption.
- Define and execute product line strategy, market positioning, and value propositions for RF SoC products.
- Own new product introduction (NPI) readiness, develop device and board forecasts, and coordinate with factory and supply planning.
- Prepare and track go-to-market plans and NPI goals.
- Engage with customers, field application engineers, sales, and vertical market teams to capture requirements and drive design wins.
- Present and demonstrate product capabilities and solutions to customers and partners.
- Support ongoing product line customers and requirements for Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC.
- Travel for customer and field interactions as required.
Requirements
Key qualifications and skills required or preferred for success in the role.
- Must-have: Strong technical foundation in RF, analog, and DSP technologies, and the ability to engage credibly with technical customers and internal stakeholders.
- Must-have: Proven semiconductor industry experience with product management or product line ownership, and demonstrated customer focus and communication skills.
- Must-have: Experience translating customer requirements, market trends, and financial objectives into actionable product strategy and go-to-market plans.
- Must-have: Ability to prepare NPI forecasts and coordinate with manufacturing and factory stakeholders.
- Must-have: Strong collaboration skills to work with sales, FAEs, architects, and vertical market teams.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with RF/analog manufacturing, packaging, and PCB processes.
- Nice-to-have: Experience bringing new technologies or business models to market and driving adoption; machine learning or AI experience.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with CPUs, GPUs, SoCs, and FPGAs.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience required. Master's degree in a technical discipline or an MBA is a plus; equivalent experience acceptable.
