Product Manager

Role Summary

Lead technical product and program management for complex hardware and software products and new product introductions (NPI). Based in Bucharest, you will define requirements with architects and customers, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure programs meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.

Work with suppliers, internal stakeholders, research teams and third parties to deliver embedded and secure connectivity solutions.

Senior — experience managing complex technical programs and leading cross-functional teams; specific years not stated.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on requirements definition, program planning, execution tracking, and stakeholder coordination.

• Define product requirements and specifications with architects and customer stakeholders.
• Create project plans with integration milestones and NPI execution timelines.
• Monitor and control project progress, timelines, KPIs, and budgets; report into project review boards.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and critical paths to success.
• Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, research groups, and third parties.
• Drive process improvements and operational excellence across programs.

Requirements

• Background in electrical engineering, hardware development, software development, or data science.
• Understanding of embedded software design and verification methodologies.
• Proven project/program management skills managing complex technical projects that include hardware and software components.
• Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder integration, and team coordination skills.
• Result-oriented, proactive, ownership mindset, and ability to drive business and innovation.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with risk and issue management.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Agile project management processes.
• Familiarity with MS Project, Sciforma, or other product and portfolio management tools.

Education Requirements

BE (Bachelor of Engineering) or advanced degree preferred. Relevant fields include electrical engineering, hardware engineering, software development, computer science or data science and related technical disciplines. Subject-matter backgrounds in SoC design, software development, security, product/test development, or applications are desirable. PMI/PMP certification is listed as desirable.
