Product Management Director
Role Summary
Lead product management and pre-sales technical activities for Synopsys memory interface IP (DDR, LPDDR, HBM). Work closely with Sales, R&D, and applications engineering to translate customer needs into product requirements, collateral, and quotes.
Operate as the technical face for memory IP with customers and internal teams, shaping product positioning, enabling evaluations, and accelerating adoption.
Experience Level
Senior-level. The posting specifies MS + 7+ years or BS + 9+ years of relevant technical experience; equivalent senior-level experience in product, applications, or engineering roles is expected.
Responsibilities
Deliver technical leadership across customer engagements, product positioning, and sales enablement.
- Support sales by responding to customer requests for databooks, product information, and technical collateral.
- Review and clarify customer requirements and align them with intended use cases.
- Manage customer requests in CRM tools (Salesforce or equivalent).
- Prepare and process customer-facing IP quotes, including enhancements and customizations with Sales and R&D.
- Deliver and maintain customer presentations and technical materials as protocols evolve.
- Collaborate with Sales, Technical Product Managers, and R&D in cross-functional meetings.
- Engage directly with customers to support IP evaluations and guide memory protocol selection.

- Must-have: Technical familiarity with JEDEC DDR, LPDDR, or HBM SDRAM interfaces; ability to interact confidently with technical audiences and present clearly.

- Preferred / Nice-to-have: Understanding of the ASIC design process; background in system design, signal integrity, and timing closure.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a matrix organization and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
Education Requirements
