Role Summary

Senior R&D product lead responsible for driving technical product direction, roadmap execution, and customer adoption for Questa Verification IQ (QVIQ), a web-based verification management product. Works closely with Product Management, Product Engineering, architects, and customers to deliver scalable, integrated enterprise verification solutions.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on product strategy, engineering alignment, customer engagement, and ecosystem integration.

• Define and drive QVIQ product strategy and roadmap with Product Management and Product Engineering.
• Engage customers, field teams, and strategic accounts to gather requirements and improve adoption.
• Design and execute integration strategy across Siemens EDA products, CI/CD environments, and third-party systems.
• Translate customer and business needs into engineering priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across R&D, UX, product, and customer-facing teams.
• Partner with architects and engineering on technical feasibility, scalability, and delivery commitments.
• Provide technical leadership for features using Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular/React, SQL/NoSQL, distributed systems, and cloud-native platforms.
• Support customer engagements, demonstrations, executive reviews, and strategic evaluations.
• Monitor market and technology trends, including AI-driven workflows and analytics, to inform product direction.

Requirements

Must-have technical and leadership qualifications; preferred items listed separately.

• Proven track record of leading complex enterprise software products and delivering customer-focused outcomes.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software architectures, web applications, APIs, distributed systems, and SDLC practices.
• Practical experience with Java, Spring Framework, RESTful services, and modern front-end frameworks (Angular and/or React).
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and Linux-based deployment environments.
• Experience with software integrations, platform ecosystems, and data-intensive applications.
• Ability to work with architects and engineering teams on trade-offs, deployment models, and scalability.
• Strong customer-facing, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and balance customer needs with business and technical constraints.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of digital design and verification methodologies, simulation, formal verification, coverage analysis, or verification management tools.
• Understanding of semiconductor development workflows and verification organizations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD systems, and distributed computing environments.
• Exposure to AI-assisted engineering workflows, analytics platforms, or data-driven products.
• Familiarity with Siemens EDA solutions and verification technologies.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
