Product Engineering Architect - Verification
Role Summary
Lead technical customer engagements to evaluate, benchmark and deploy Cadence Verification Division products. Collaborate with Sales, corporate engineering, and product teams to scope opportunities, execute technical evaluations, and transfer knowledge to customers.
Frequent customer interaction and travel are expected; a current passport with no travel limitations is required.

Responsibilities
Drive technical evaluations and customer enablement activities to demonstrate and deploy verification products.
- Work with Sales to identify and scope customer opportunities for verification products.
- Plan, execute, and manage technical evaluations and benchmarks with existing and potential customers.
- Deliver trainings, presentations, and product demonstrations for basic and advanced topics.
- Support customer project ramp-up and ongoing technical troubleshooting.
- Provide expert responses to complex client queries and escalation items.
- Coordinate with corporate engineering and product teams on customer requirements and product improvement feedback.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through ongoing technical engagement.
Requirements
Required technical skills and professional capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with SoC emulation/acceleration, hybrid verification solutions, or related hardware-assisted verification flows.
- Familiarity with UVM, verification IPs, and transactors.
- Experience with simulators (for example IES, VCS) and emulators/accelerators (for example PXP, Zebu, Veloce).
- Strong Linux proficiency and Tcl scripting skills.
- Program and engagement management skills to run customer evaluations and projects.
- Effective team player with strong English communication skills and experience interacting with global customers and business units.
- Current passport with no travel limitations.
- Nice-to-have: experience in consumer application design/debugging and deploying EDA solutions at scale.
Education Requirements
