Product Engineering Architect
Role Summary
Lead product engineering for DFT and ATPG capabilities on the Modus PE team. Define product specifications, coordinate validation and methodology development with R&D and PV teams, and work with field engineers to benchmark customer designs for successful deployment.
Experience Level
Senior - requires 14+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Identify and specify new DFT and ATPG features for product implementation.
- Collaborate with R&D and PV to validate features and drive development.
- Develop methodologies, flows, and user documentation to improve tool usability and quality.
- Work with field teams to benchmark customer designs and enable successful deployment.
- Drive enhancements or modifications of tools to address customer and market needs.
- Support Innovus hierarchical partition tools and top-level timing closure flows.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hierarchical customer issues during benchmarking.
- Communicate technical status and present results to internal teams and customers.
Requirements
Must-have skills and attributes:
- Extensive hands-on experience in DFT and ATPG product engineering.
- Proven ability to write clear product specifications and validation plans.
- Experience collaborating with R&D, product verification (PV), and field teams.
- Practical experience developing methodologies, flows, and technical documentation.
- Experience benchmarking customer designs and resolving deployment issues.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; effective interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Creative problem-solving and ability to work across functions and geographies.
- High professional integrity and a focus on improving product quality.
Education Requirements
B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), or Computer Science.
