Product Engineer, Tessent Logic Test
Role Summary
The Tessent division at Siemens is looking for a motivated Product Engineer with expertise in design-for-test (DFT) and test delivery at the chip and system level. This role involves working on automated tools for semiconductor DFT structures, including ATPG and memory tests, while interacting with sales and marketing teams.

Mid-level (1-3 years of relevant experience required)
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and characterizing product capabilities to meet customer needs.
- Collaborating with R&D to prototype and test new product features.
- Leading beta programs and supporting beta partners.
- Driving product adoption and growth.
- Preparing technical presentations and training materials.
- Developing tool documentation such as user manuals.
- Engaging with customers and Siemens EDA stakeholders.
- Solving complex technical issues independently.
- Communicating complex principles to diverse audiences.
- Traveling domestically and internationally as needed.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1-3 years of DFT experience in complex ASICs/SOCs.
- Knowledge of DFT tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in LINUX and Windows environments.
- Experience with scripting languages such as TCL or Python.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Education Requirements
A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
