Role Summary
The Product Engineer in the Tessent division is responsible for design-for-test (DFT) methodologies. This individual plays a crucial role in defining product capabilities and engaging with customers to enhance product features.
Experience Level
Applicants should possess between 5-8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years specifically in DFT processes for complex ASICs/SOCs.
Responsibilities
- Define and characterize new product capabilities according to customer needs.
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype, evaluate, and test new DFT products.
- Lead beta programs and support beta partners.
- Drive product adoption through training and presentations.
- Create and review technical documentation.
- Address complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Provide customer support and interact with various stakeholders.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in DFT, including ATPG, embedded tests, and engineering methodologies.
- Experience with scripting languages such as TCL or Python.
- Proficient in LINUX and Windows environments.
- Understanding of IC design trends and emerging technologies.
- Strong problem-solving capability and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Education Requirements
BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is mandatory.
