Product Engineer - PAVE360

Role Summary

Lead the global prototyping engineering function for PAVE360, owning technical engagement with senior customer engineers and delivering large-scale prototyping projects across hardware platforms and customer environments.

Manage cross-functional collaboration with software and hardware teams, provide hands-on technical direction for large-scale applications, and ensure solutions scale across diverse customer deployments.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include leading teams, driving technical delivery, and representing the organization to customers and leadership.

• Lead and develop a global team of prototyping experts: set priorities, staffing, technical objectives, and measurable goals.
• Own technical engagement with senior customer engineers and management; translate business and engineering challenges into scalable prototyping solutions.
• Drive delivery of complex prototyping projects across hardware platforms and customer design environments.
• Identify, analyze, and communicate software, hardware, and methodology issues to product development teams for timely prioritization and resolution.
• Provide technical direction and hands-on guidance for large-scale applications and deployments.
• Define and promote data-exchange methodologies for reliable integration between heterogeneous systems and tools.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level technical documents, roadmap updates, and presentations for customer management and internal leadership.
• Mentor engineers and build team capabilities in architecture, debugging, customer communication, and project execution.
• Independently lead highly complex projects, applying expert judgment and risk management to meet customer and business objectives.

Requirements

Must-have technical and managerial qualifications for successful performance in this role.

• Proven experience managing distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Verification and EDA experience in multicultural or global environments.
• Deep understanding of prototyping technologies, including multi-FPGA compile for very large-scale systems.
• Strong customer-facing skills; ability to engage with senior technical and management stakeholders.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required.
• Demonstrated ability to drive cross-team collaboration and to communicate technical issues clearly to product teams and leadership.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience defining large-scale data-exchange methodologies and integrations across heterogeneous toolchains.
• Prior hands-on delivery of complex prototyping projects on varied hardware platforms.

Education Requirements
