Product Engineer β LPDRAM (Embedded Programming & AI Development)
Role Summary
Join Micron's product engineering team to validate and sustain mobile DRAM products by developing test methods, improving test coverage, and ensuring high-quality product releases. The role collaborates closely with design, process, test, reliability, and product teams to diagnose and resolve product issues and to improve yield and test efficiency.

Responsibilities
Hands-on engineering work supporting product validation, test development, and data-driven yield improvement for mobile DRAM.
- Define and improve validation test coverage and test quality for mobile DRAM products.
- Build verification test flows; review and approve test items and test programs.
- Develop and verify test patterns; support verification using Verilog simulation.
- Perform product characterization and electrical failure analysis using in-house engineering equipment.
- Detect failures per JEDEC standards and perform systematic root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with design, process, test, and reliability teams to resolve process- and defect-related issues.
- Design test strategies and develop short-duration, high-quality test methods for mobile DRAM.
- Analyze product data and provide feedback to yield-improvement projects.
- Use data analysis and scripting to reduce test time and improve circuit quality.
- Design and implement AI-assisted workflows and automation to increase efficiency and strengthen quality checks.

Technical: Experience with Python, TypeScript, PowerShell or similar for tooling and automation.
- Experience or understanding of logic or analog circuit design and ability to read schematics.
- Experience with Verilog simulation for test pattern verification.
- Experience evaluating or testing high-speed interfaces.
- Knowledge or experience with DRAM products and test strategies.
- Familiarity with IATF16949 or automotive-quality management is a plus.
- Experience with API integration, data processing, exception handling, and automation of business workflows.
- Experience using AI development tools or generative-AI (e.g., Claude Code) to improve workflows.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
