Product Engineer II - Low Power

Role Summary

Work on low-power verification and product engineering for the Xcelium simulator suite, developing and automating verification flows and methodologies. Collaborate with R&D, application engineering, and customers to deploy solutions and improve tools.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include product engineering, customer engagement, and automation of verification flows.

  • Develop and drive low-power verification flows and methodologies using Xcelium applications.
  • Collaborate with R&D and application engineering to improve tools and methodologies.
  • Work closely with customers in complex environments to deploy differentiated solutions and capture product requirements.
  • Automate tool flows, implement best practices, and debug/resolve verification issues.

Requirements

Core technical skills and interpersonal abilities required for effective contribution.

  • Must-have: 1–3 years of hands-on verification experience; strong fundamentals in functional and low-power verification.
  • Experience with UPF and SystemVerilog/UVM-based environments.
  • Familiarity with simulators such as Xcelium, VCS, or Questa.
  • Practical scripting skills for automation (TCL, Python, or Perl).
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Nice-to-have: Deep expertise in Low Power UPF and prior experience deploying verification flows for customers.

Education Requirements

B.Tech/B.E or M.Tech/M.E in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering. The posting specifies 1+ years of relevant design verification experience.
