Product Engineer (Calibre PERC)

Role Overview

The Product Engineer (Calibre PERC) will function as a key technical liaison between foundries and the R&D teams at Siemens EDA. The role involves improving analysis flow and verification methodologies, as well as ensuring efficient deployment of core technologies.

Experience Level

This role requires candidates to have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor IC design or EDA industry, making it suitable for professionals with some industry background.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Validate and enhance verification methodologies and analysis flows.
• Create detailed requirement documents for feasible solution plans and work with R&D to achieve set objectives.
• Develop and deliver product training materials to both internal teams and external customers.

Job Requirements

Ideal candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field is required; MS degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
• Knowledge of ESD, LVS, parasitic extraction, circuit simulation, and EDA software flow is a plus.
• Experience with programming languages including Tcl, Perl, Python, or shell scripting is beneficial.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline is essential, with a Master’s degree being highly favored.
