Product Engineer (Analog Design Environment)
Role Summary
The Product Engineer will evangelize and demonstrate Cadence's Analog Design Environment (ADE) tools and agentic workflows for custom analog, RF and mixed-signal circuit design and simulation.
This role works directly with customers and internal application engineers to diagnose and resolve technical issues, collect customer requirements, and advocate improvements to R&D for usability and performance.
Experience Level
Mid-level — typically 3+ years of experience in custom circuit design and simulation.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on customer engagement, technical expertise, and product feedback.
- Serve as a technical evangelist and demonstrator for ADE tools and related agentic workflows.
- Work with customers and application engineers to troubleshoot and resolve design and simulation issues.
- Collect and synthesize customer requirements; act as customer advocate to R&D for product improvements.
- Define and improve use models and user interfaces based on customer feedback.
- Document and communicate technical solutions and best practices to internal teams and customers.
Requirements

- Must-have: 3+ years of experience in custom circuit design and simulation.
- Must-have: Experience in customer-facing technical roles and strong communication skills.
- Must-have: Demonstrated ability to drive product requirements and influence R&D on usability and performance.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with Virtuoso ADE tools.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with AI agents, generative AI, and RAG implementations for LLMs.
- Nice-to-have: Basic SKILL and shell programming experience.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required; Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) preferred.
