Product Engineer — Advanced Data Analytics (Heterogeneous Integration Group, HBM Product Engineering)

Role Summary

Lead and execute data-driven engineering projects to improve yield, reliability, and product quality for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) within the Heterogeneous Integration Group. Work on end-to-end analytics solutions, from model development to deployment, in close collaboration with fab, technology, design, quality, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

Deliver analytics and ML solutions that improve yield, quality, and operational efficiency across the HBM product lifecycle.

• Own cumulative yield initiatives and lead cross-functional projects to raise overall yield and product quality.
• Perform engineering data analysis using statistical tools, machine learning, and AI to identify yield and reliability improvements.
• Develop machine learning and deep learning models for pattern recognition, screening, predictive maintenance, and yield optimization.
• Integrate analytics outputs into the manufacturing disposition (Dispo) workflow and production processes.
• Collaborate with IT, manufacturing, and operations to build and improve data infrastructure and pipelines, including cloud-based solutions.
• Work closely with Fab, HBM technology and design teams, system development, and quality/reliability teams to enable product shipping targets.
• Promote technical innovation and share AI-enabled improvements across teams to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

Key technical skills, tools, and working requirements needed to perform the role.

• Strong data analytics and statistical skills; experience with tools such as JMP, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Proficiency in programming for data analysis: Python, R, and SQL; familiarity with web languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for data presentation is a plus.
• Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
• Practical experience in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and deploying models for production use.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional manufacturing, design, and quality teams.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Accountability, ownership mindset, and a professional work ethic.
• Must work onsite in Singapore; role includes international travel to Taiwan.
• Nice-to-have: experience with cloud data infrastructure, wafer/die-level screening, or advanced manufacturing analytics.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
