Role Summary

Reports to the product director and works with product engineering, R&D developers, QA, and cross-functional teams to support the product throughout its lifecycle.

The role requires direct interaction with customers and support teams in Taiwan to collect requirements, validate functionality, and support product deployment.

Responsibilities

Support the product through its lifecycle and act as a liaison between customers and R&D.

• Learn the application field through customer interaction, literature research, and conferences.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable items for R&D.
• Demonstrate product features to customers and gather feedback on applicability and requirements.
• Contribute to application development and functional validation of software solutions.
• Develop test cases and collaborate with QA on user scenario testing.
• File enhancement and defect reports; coordinate with R&D to define and test solutions.
• Provide applications-engineer training and support for product deployment.
• Interact directly with customers and support teams in Taiwan; travel as required.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes:

• 10+ years' relevant experience in semiconductor wafer/mask process development and manufacture and/or EDA environments emphasizing semiconductor manufacturing software.
• Proficiency with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and interact directly with customers; some domestic or international travel required.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in computational lithography, OPC, and verification for semiconductor manufacturing, including advanced nodes.
• Experience using GPUs for computational lithography.
• Understanding of the interaction between IC design flow and wafer manufacturing flow.
• Interest or experience in software application development and machine learning methods.
• Familiarity with C/C++, Python, or Julia.
• API-based OPC recipe development and prototyping skills.
• Established network in the semiconductor manufacturing and supplier ecosystem.

Education Requirements

PhD or Master#8217;s degree in Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field is specified (to be held alongside 10+ years of relevant experience). No specific certifications were listed.
