Role Summary

Work on automotive silicon and product development from definition through production with global cross-functional teams. The role focuses on developing and supporting test solutions, executing characterization and qualification, and resolving production issues to meet automotive quality targets.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include delivery and support of test and qualification activities for new products and production.

• Collaborate with worldwide cross-functional teams on new product introduction (NPI) and qualification.
• Develop, validate, and hand over test solutions from early phases to production, targeting test time and cost objectives.
• Perform characterization, sampling, and qualification activities.
• Monitor and analyze production issues; drive resolution with Design, Applications, and Manufacturing teams.
• Support production partners such as fabs, manufacturing sites, foundries, and test houses.
• Improve and reduce test cost while maintaining automotive zero-defect/low-PPM quality requirements.
• Initiate reviews and follow release procedures to ensure work quality.
• Track developments in testing methods and technologies and apply relevant improvements.

Requirements

Key skills and experience required or strongly preferred.

• Must-have: More than 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including exposure to NPI or production test environments.
• Must-have: Experience in test development, characterization, qualification, and production test support.
• Must-have: Strong analytical and synthesis skills; effective problem-solving in cross-functional teams.
• Must-have: Good command of English, both written and spoken, for a global working environment.
• Must-have: Demonstrated ownership, teamwork, diligence, and ability to work under pressure.
• Nice-to-have: Direct experience handling NPI projects and working with fabs, foundries, or external test houses.

Education Requirements
