Role Summary

The Product Development Engineer focuses on driving and developing the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the initial design stage through production ramping. This role involves collaboration with various teams to validate testability circuits and methodologies for new products.

Experience Level

Mid-level, requiring 3-5 years of industry experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

  • Developing testability circuits and methodologies for new products.
  • Collaborating with various teams to ensure manufacturability and optimize test processes.
  • Conducting ATE device characterization and yield analysis.
  • Driving product supply optimization through data analysis.
  • Leading manufacturing readiness and production ramp activities.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IC testing or development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as VB, C, Perl, Python, and TCL/TK.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of ATE tester instruments and IC packaging.
  • Experience with statistical methodologies like Six Sigma.

Education Requirements

A BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is expected.
