Product Development and Test Engineer (PMIC)
QualcommRole Summary
The Product Development and Test Engineering group is responsible for design validation, characterization, and production test deployment for Qualcomm’s advanced Power Management and Analog ICs. This role involves developing test solutions and working closely with various engineering teams to ensure high-volume manufacturability.
Experience Level
Entry-level (0-2 years of experience).
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include:
- Developing test solutions at ATE and Bench to validate product functionality.
- Characterizing products across corner conditions.
- Releasing cost-effective test solutions for mass production.
- Driving test time reduction and yield improvement while ensuring production quality.
- Collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
Requirements
Must-have skills include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- 0-2 years’ experience in product development, test validation, and high-volume production activities.
- Understanding of basic test equipment and skills in programming languages like Labview, Python, or Visual Basic.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-have skills include:
- Experience with Power Management ICs and analog measurement techniques.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis software.
- Knowledge of Design for Test techniques.
- Experience in PCB design and test hardware development.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field is required.
