Role Summary
The Product Data Operations Engineering Systems Analyst supports product lifecycle and engineering data management for chip programs, working with engineering, planning, manufacturing, IT, and subcontractors to ensure accurate product definitions and smooth program releases.
This role is based in Santa Clara and focuses on translating engineering intent into manufacturable items, maintaining data integrity across PLM/ERP systems, and improving operational processes.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include managing product lifecycle items, release governance, and ensuring downstream manufacturing readiness.
- Support chip product lifecycle (PLC) setup, engineering program changes, releases, and phase transitions across engineering groups.
- Plan and manage program release schedules, track dependencies, develop cutover plans, and lead cross-functional release reviews.
- Translate engineering specifications into manufacturable items (wafers, programs, dice, assemblies, SKUs) and validate attributes (form/fit/function, revision control, traceability).
- Ensure accurate item setup in E2Open/Serus and downstream integration into SAP.
- Collaborate with IT, subcontractors, and application partners to build and maintain I/O links and related objects.
- Define and manage production flows, bills of materials, yields, bin fractions, and test-time forecasts; handle PLM deviations when necessary.
- Analyze systems and processes to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for scalability and reliability.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, domain knowledge, and workplace abilities.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience working across functions in outsourced fabless semiconductor manufacturing (OSAT exposure required).
- Experience with E2Open/Serus, Windchill, SAP, Agile practices, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Familiarity with production planning concepts: routing, flows, tests, yields, materials, and handoffs between engineering and manufacturing.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, resilience, and ability to work nonstandard hours when needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to translate business needs into development requirements and ensure data integrity.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, IT, subcontractors, and operations teams.
- Nice-to-have: experience with Tableau, Power BI, web-based data visualization, Python, SQL, HTML, XML, Visual Basic, and AI tools.
Education Requirements
