Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include managing process interfaces, investigating and resolving process and yield issues, and coordinating transfers between internal and external manufacturing partners.

• Manage technical process interface with silicon vendors and foundries; coordinate process transfers with IDMs and external foundries.
• Work closely with suppliers to resolve supplier silicon process issues and define process requirements.
• Participate in technology development, device engineering, and sustaining engineering activities.
• Drive root-cause investigations and define corrective actions for process, yield, performance, and reliability issues.
• Manage and mitigate technology risks across multiple concurrent projects; drive timely decisions and follow-through.
• Build and maintain relationships across internal teams and external suppliers at all levels.
• Travel to suppliers and foundries worldwide as required.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience, plus preferred additional competencies.

• Must-have: 10+ years of semiconductor process R&D and manufacturing experience; deep knowledge of CMOS, BCD, or imaging process technologies, integration, and device physics.
• Must-have: Experience with deep trench etching systems and integration into high-volume manufacturing.
• Must-have: Demonstrated experience solving complex technical problems under aggressive schedules; strong data analysis, problem solving, and communication skills; self-motivated and schedule-oriented.
