The role focuses on process development, device integration, characterization, and yield/parametric improvements through DOE, data analysis, and simulation.

Experience Level

Mid-level - requires experience working in a semiconductor factory; posting specifies 3+ years.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Apply device physics and model-based problem solving to resolve integration issues and improve parametrics and yield.
  • Define process requirements, specifications, and technical success criteria for sections of the process flow.
  • Drive process and device improvements using characterization, DOE, data analysis, and simulation.
  • Apply process-integration best-known methods for advanced CMOS nodes below 28nm, including HKMG-related work.
  • Partner with process, integration, reliability, packaging, test, and product teams to meet program goals and device targets.
  • Communicate project status, manage multiple technical tasks, and meet critical deadlines across organizations.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications (concise):

  • Must-have: 3+ years of experience in a semiconductor factory environment with hands-on involvement in advanced CMOS technology development below 28nm; demonstrated strength in DOE and data analysis and the ability to translate results into process and parametric improvements.
  • Must-have: Experience with characterization and problem-solving for process integration and yield improvement.
  • Preferred: Experience building strong cross-functional relationships, technical communication and leadership skills, and ability to ramp quickly on new tools and systems.
  • Preferred: Strong interpersonal, analytical, time-management, and prioritization skills; high ownership mindset and track record of on-time project delivery.
