Process Integration Conversion Coordinator Engineer

Role Summary

Support Process Integration (PI) teams in NAND Technology Development by coordinating conversion activities, system setups, New Part Requests (NPRs), and traveler revisions across fab systems. Work closely with PI engineers, Change Management, Traveler Control, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, PI technicians, and cross-functional teams (Operations, Information Systems, Planning, Inventory).

Focus on timely and accurate conversions, maintaining conversion metrics, and providing basic user support for conversion-related systems and processes.

Experience Level

Entry-level — suitable for candidates with a recent Bachelor's degree or equivalent internship/academic experience; no specific years of prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include coordinating conversions, managing system setups, and maintaining conversion documentation and reports.

  • Coordinate process conversions and system setup requests for automated lot processing.
  • Support implementation of New Part Requests (NPRs) by following business rules and Best Known Methods under guidance.
  • Enter and verify changes in process management systems (SPC, Traveler, Queue Time, and change control applications).
  • Perform conflict checks to validate accuracy and safety of conversion setups.
  • Maintain and update part setups per NPR guidelines.
  • Document lessons learned and contribute to business rule improvements for conversions.
  • Prepare and maintain simple weekly/monthly reports as assigned.
  • Provide basic training and user support on conversion management systems and BKMs.
  • Ensure adherence to global standards in conversion-related activities under supervision.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and behaviors for the role.

  • Basic understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and workflows; internship or academic project experience in a semiconductor environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with fab systems such as process control, traveler management, and lot tracking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including process development, integration, and yield enhancement.
  • Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a technology development environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly document and share findings.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking through coursework or projects.
  • Proactive attitude with a sense of ownership for assigned tasks.
  • Basic proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel required; experience with Tableau or scripting is a plus).
  • Ability to manage time effectively and pay attention to detail.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, or a related discipline. Internship or academic semiconductor experience is noted as a plus.
