Role Summary

Responsible for defining and optimizing backend semiconductor manufacturing processes (back grind, pre-assembly) at the Bangkok site. The role maintains process documentation, supports new product introduction and process qualification, leads root-cause analysis for defects and yield losses, and collaborates with cross-functional teams on process and cost improvements.

Experience Level

Mid-level — typically requires at least 2 years' relevant experience (back grind or pre-assembly).

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include:

• Define and optimize procedures to ensure smooth processing of production lots.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures; provide operator training.
• Lead root cause analysis for defects and yield losses and provide disposition for lots with quality issues.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and process qualification.
• Analyze production data to identify process improvements and support cost-reduction projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvement initiatives.
• Perform change management, including qualification of new materials.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and skills:

• At least 2 years' experience in back grind or pre-assembly processes.
• Experience with 10K cleanroom operations and backend power semiconductor processes.
• Practical experience with SPC tools, Cpk analysis, and Design of Experiments (DoE).
• Experience in semiconductor failure analysis and processing documentation.
• Proven track record applying Lean Six Sigma methods to manufacturing process optimization.
• Effective communication, organizational, and project management skills; proactive work approach.

Nice-to-have:

• Formal Lean Six Sigma certification or training.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in electronic engineering or a related field.
