Focus areas include test program development, high-speed ATE hardware design, test methodology, and test flow optimization.
Experience Level
Level: Senior. Typical guidance: ~10+ years relevant industry experience (or ~5+ years with an advanced technical degree).
Responsibilities
Core duties include designing test solutions, translating designs into production test flows, and improving test efficiency and yield.
- Develop ATE test programs and solutions on Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne platforms for characterization, wafer sort, and production.
- Design and develop high-speed ATE hardware and fixtures to support testing requirements.
- Create detailed test plans, methodologies, and documentation that meet product specifications.
- Convert test patterns from simulation/design environments into ATE formats.
- Collaborate with DFx, Design, and product engineering teams on testability reviews and yield improvement.
- Optimize test flows to reduce test time, remove unnecessary steps, and improve yields.
- Release and support production test programs and troubleshoot silicon/test issues.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; education details are summarized in the Education Requirements section below.
- Proven expertise in test program development on Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne tester platforms.
- Hands-on ATE testing experience, test methodology, silicon process understanding, and DFT/DFM knowledge.
- Experience with high-speed digital testing and electrical interfaces (NRZ/PAM4).
- Proficiency in C/C++, Perl, Python and working in a Linux environment.
- Solid understanding of scan and MBIST DFT test methodologies.
- Experience designing complex, high-performance ATE hardware.
