Role Summary

Join the Hi-Rel Space Product and Test Engineering Group in Palm Bay to develop and transfer production test solutions for radiation‑hardened ICs used in space systems. The role focuses on test methodology, hardware and PCB design, automated test programming, and correlation between bench characterization and production test.

Responsibilities

The principal responsibilities include development, validation, and transfer of test solutions for analog/mixed‑signal and power ICs in a production test environment.

• Define test requirements with development teams for new ICs.
• Write characterization and production test programs; debug and validate test software.
• Design load boards and PCBs for automated test equipment (ATE).
• Correlate production test results with bench measurements and characterization data.
• Perform GR&R studies and transient/spike/de‑glitch analysis.
• Transfer validated test solutions to the production test floor and support production ramp.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• 25+ years of experience creating test solutions for automated test environments in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience with analog, mixed‑signal, and power ICs (LDOs, buck regulators, PMICs, PWM controllers).
• Test methodology, ATE program development and debugging, and PCB/load‑board design experience.
• Ability to perform GR&R and transient analysis, and to correlate bench and production measurements.
• Experience working on-site in a production test environment.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with 93k, Cohu DiamondX, ETS364, or Teradyne microFLEX ATE platforms.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is specified. The posting also specifies 25+ years of relevant semiconductor test engineering experience.
