Job Title

Principal Technical Product Manager

Role Summary

Lead product strategy and execution for Siemens EDA's Questa verification platform, focusing on verification management, digital thread, cloud deployment, and AI-driven verification workflows. You will work with R&D, customers, sales, and marketing to define vision, prioritize features, and deliver solutions for complex SoC and FPGA verification.

This role is based in Austin, TX with a hybrid work arrangement.

Experience Level

Senior (Principal) β€” typically 8–10 years of product management experience; experience in EDA, semiconductor, or enterprise software is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include defining strategy and driving delivery for verification products and capabilities.

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Verification Management: verification planning, coverage management, regression analytics, and metrics-driven closure.
  • Drive the Digital Thread strategy to ensure traceability and data continuity across design and verification lifecycles.
  • Lead product efforts for scalable, cloud-native verification environments and deployment models.
  • Define and prioritize AI-powered capabilities to enable intelligent automation and insight-driven workflows.
  • Translate customer needs and market trends into product requirements, user stories, and roadmap priorities.
  • Partner with R&D, sales, marketing, and customer success to align priorities and validate direction with key accounts and industry stakeholders.
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for product initiatives and iterate based on data and customer feedback.

Requirements

Must-have skills and qualifications for the role.

  • Proven product management experience (see Experience Level) delivering software products to market, ideally in EDA, semiconductor, or enterprise software.
  • Strong knowledge of functional verification methodologies, including simulation, formal verification, and coverage-driven verification.
  • Experience driving cloud or SaaS product initiatives from concept to market.
  • Familiarity with verification management concepts such as coverage closure, regression management, and metrics-driven verification planning.
  • Understanding of digital thread and data continuity across complex engineering workflows.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence engineering, sales, and executives.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and product lifecycle management.
  • Compliance with U.S. export-control requirements: employment contingent on verifying U.S. Person status or obtaining necessary export licenses.
  • Nice-to-have: exposure to Questa, SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL, and prior experience applying AI/analytics in verification workflows.
