Principal/Staff Engineer, NVM QRA

Role Summary

Lead electrical failure analysis and qualification planning for 3D NAND memory devices within Global Quality. Develop and execute qualification plans, perform risk assessments, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with R&D and Product Engineering to sustain and improve device reliability.

Experience Level

Senior-level (Principal/Staff). Specific years of experience not stated; senior technical leadership and domain experience in semiconductor quality or failure analysis expected.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include qualification planning, failure analysis, data analysis, and risk management for NAND products.

• Define and oversee NAND qualification plans; facilitate and manage qualification activities.
• Analyze qualification test data and perform risk assessments at decision points in the qualification cycle.
• Perform failure analysis on rejects to identify failure modes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with R&D and Product Engineering to understand new reliability issues and assess customer impact.
• Leverage AI tools to automate reporting, defect classification, and root-cause analysis.

• Nice-to-have: Hands-on failure analysis experience.
• Nice-to-have: Experience applying AI tools to improve engineering productivity or reporting efficiency.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
