Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning and executing SoC verification and driving closure of verification objectives.
- Develop and execute SoC verification plans and strategies.
- Design, build, and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM-based verification environments and testbenches.
- Verify complex SoC features: ARM-based subsystems; interconnects (AXI/ACE/CHI); DDR, PCIe, Ethernet; security and boot; low power and clock/reset architectures; functional safety mechanisms (ISO 26262).
- Drive functional, code, and assertion coverage closure.
- Debug RTL, testbench, and system-level issues; support post-silicon debug.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architecture, design, firmware, validation, and safety teams; assist customer issue resolution.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.
- Experience in SoC/IP verification (posting specifies "5-4 years").
- Proven expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and SVA.
- Knowledge of functional and code coverage methodologies and closure processes.
- Familiarity with simulation and debug tools such as VCS, Xcelium, and Verdi.
- Experience with ARM-based SoCs and industry-standard protocols (AXI, PCIe, DDR, Ethernet).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Automotive SoC experience and familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety concepts.
- Experience with low-power methodologies (UPF), formal verification, gate-level simulation, and emulation.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
