Role Summary
The Principal SOC DV Engineer is responsible for developing and executing SOC verification plans, including creating tests and simulating scenarios to ensure the proper functionality of the SOC.
Experience Level
Senior Level; Minimum of 8 years of processor-based SOC verification experience required.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Create SOC verification plans and develop C/SV based SOC verification tests.
- Perform processor-based SOC verification and emulation.
- Develop simulation firmware and test scenarios to verify system-level use cases.
- Implement SV/UVM monitors to enhance the verification environment.
- Support silicon bring-up activities and functional characterization.
- Automate verification environment development workflows.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, and firmware teams for proper verification.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in processor-based SOC verification.
- 4+ years of experience with SV/SVA.
- Familiarity with DFT architecture and ARM/ARC processor pipeline architectures.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Positive attitude.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
