Responsibilities
Primary duties include electrical test development, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to improve device performance and yield.
- Analyze advanced electrical characterization and parametric results to support device performance improvements.
- Create test environments and optimize measurement conditions for each product generation and test structure.
- Acquire detailed laboratory measurements and perform engineering-level analysis to identify development issues and provide feedback.
- Propose required test structures and develop data automation tools for characterization workflows.
- Apply statistical and data-science approaches to large parametric datasets to identify root causes and improve yield.
- Collaborate with device integration, process development, product engineering, product design, and failure analysis teams.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; optional items listed as nice-to-have.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor device physics (CMOS, cell transistors, diodes, resistive elements) and basic circuit operation.
- Strong background in semiconductor device characterization, particularly for CMOS-based architectures.
- Basic knowledge of DRAM electrical characteristics.
- Knowledge of statistical data analysis and experience working with parametric datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Nice-to-have: Programming experience (Python, C++), experience with high-frequency/RF characterization, RTN noise analysis, and use of semiconductor analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Education Requirements
