Role Summary

The Arm Solutions Engineering SoC Security Team is seeking creative and enthusiastic SoC Design Engineers to join a diverse and highly-skilled team focused on Security Design. You will contribute to the specification, design, verification, and productization of Security IP.

Experience Level

Mid-level, with a preference for candidates possessing both Bachelor's and Master's degrees or equivalent experience in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

As a Security and Embedded Processor Design Engineer, you will:

  • Define and realize Hardware Security IP and Subsystems.
  • Develop design specifications and hardware IP.
  • Collaborate with the verification team to build test plans and support verification debug.
  • Write micro-architecture specifications and develop RTL.
  • Fix bugs and conduct design explorations and structural checks.
  • Guide team members and balance project management activities.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • Understanding of digital hardware design EDA methodologies and Verilog HDL.
  • Experience in Security Hardware, Embedded Processor Systems, Applied Cryptography, Secure Boot, and Key Management.
  • Experience with complex SoC architecture, including multi-clock domain designs and AXI/AHB protocols.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Tcl.
  • Experience with ARM-based designs and SystemVerilog verification methodologies (UVM/OVM).
  • Skills in synthesis, timing analysis, and static design checks including CDC and linting.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
