Role Summary
Lead the development of electromagnetic extraction and simulation methodologies for high-speed SERDES and 3DIC designs. Work with design and methodology teams to deliver robust flows, tool integrations, and practical solutions that ensure signal integrity and product reliability at data rates from 10 Gbps to 500 Gbps.

Senior - typically requires 10+ years of relevant industry experience in CMOS/FinFET/GAA technologies and electromagnetic extraction for high-speed products.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include designing extraction flows, collaborating across teams, and deploying solutions:
- Define and develop electromagnetic extraction and simulation flows for 3DIC designs and SERDES products (10–500 Gbps).
- Collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to identify and resolve EM issues.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in tools such as Helic, HFSS, and ADS.
- Lead methodology improvements and contribute to design enablement efforts.
- Ensure effective deployment of extraction/simulation solutions in product flows.
- Analyze complex EM challenges and define pragmatic, practical solutions.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Proficiency with electromagnetic tools: Helic, HFSS, and ADS.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with CMOS, FinFET, and GAA process technologies.
- Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory as applied to high-speed product design.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement electromagnetic extraction and simulation methodologies.
- Experience with RF SPICE simulations and configuring simulations to use models produced by EM extraction tools.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with distributed design teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience specifically with 3DIC integration and multi-die EM challenges.
- Proven track record of leading methodology/tool deployment across product teams.
